Smoke and Snowflakes
dance on the breath
of a boy who wanted
to wish away the Sun.
He walks through halls
filled with demons
who scream at him:
Weak
Loser
Stupid
Lame


But they don't know.
They don't know
about his mother with cancer,
and his dad who couldn't care less.
They don't know
that despite his pain,
he has made the decision to keep living.
They don't care
that he only strives to make people happy,
to see his mother smile
one more time.
And people who will never be as strong as he is
whisper Poison words
because of Snowflakes on his breath.
